The claim

「Probiotics cure everything and should be taken routinely」

Verdict

Myth

Probiotic effects are highly strain- and condition-specific: certain strains have evidence for antibiotic-associated and acute infectious diarrhoea — which doesn’t generalise to constipation, eczema, immunity or appetite. Healthy children don’t need routine supplementation; a varied diet is the foundation of gut flora.
