The claim

「Late teething means calcium deficiency」

Verdict

Myth

Most babies get their first tooth between 6 and 12 months, and the variation is wide — some have no teeth at all by their first birthday, which is still normal. Timing is mostly genetic and has nothing to do with calcium supplements. The AAP suggests a first dental visit once that tooth appears, and by the first birthday at the latest; raise any worries then.
